Many studies have reported behavior problems of children attending kindergartens and nursery schools. Of the various reasons for such problems, motor performance is considered one possible factor. In this study, the background of behavioral characteristics was analyzed by measuring motor coordination skills of children aged between 4 and 6 years old who attend kindergartens and nursery schools. As the results, a significant difference was observed in motor coordination skill scores of children with hyperactivity / inattention, peer relationship problems, and prosocial behavior problems and those of children in a normal group. Understanding the background of childrenʼs behavior problems by measuring their motor coordination skills may enhance the comprehension of behavioral characteristics, suggesting the possibility of a major change in support for children in their early childhood. |

就学前児を対象に、子供の強さと困難さアンケート(SDQ)を用いて、行動特性と運動協調性との関連を調べた。さらに、問題のある就学前児の運動協調性の特性を分析するため、健常児群と要支援児群とで比較した。対象は4〜6歳の児童300名(男児151名、女児149名)とした。運動協調性の評価にはMovement Assessment Battery for Children第2版(MABC-II)を用いた。SDQおよびMABC-IIの主要項目において、健常児群と要支援児群(多動/不注意、仲間関係の問題、向社会的行動の問題)との間で手先の器用さとバランスに有意差が認められた。SDQおよびMABC-IIの副次項目において、健常群と要支援児群(多動/不注意、情動性症状、仲間関係の問題、向社会的行動の問題)との間でビーズ通し、線引き、片足立ち、かかと歩行において有意差が認められた。 |
