精神障がい者に口腔衛生と口腔機能の維持・向上を目的として病床内にて歯科医師による学習会やTBI(Tooth Brushing Instruction)と看護者による個別口腔ケアを実施した。17ヶ月後,介入群とコントロール群に対し質問紙を用いて歯科受診,口腔保清,食形態嗜好,口腔乾燥,咀嚼・嚥下の項目について聞き取り調査を実施した。χ^2検定の結果,歯科医師と看護者の連携による口腔ケアは歯科受診,口腔保清,咀嚼・嚥下項目で有意性が認められた。 |

In order to maintain and improve oral hygiene/functions of patients with mental illness in bed, dentists hold a study meeting and gave TBI (Tooth Brushing Instructions), with individual oral care provided by nurses. Seventeen months later an interview survey, whose questionnaire included the following items, was conducted : dental examination and treatment, oral cleaning, food preference, xerostomia, mastication and deglutition. The result of a chi-square test proved the significance of cooperation between dentists and nurses in oral care. |
