| 内容記述 | 看護学教育において,臨地実習は,看護実践能力の育成や人間関係形成過程を伴う体験学習として重要な意味をもつ。そこで,老年看護学実習において学生は,どのような視点や看護技術を用いて高齢者を理解していたのかを明らかにすることを目的として研究を行った。38名の学生のケーススタディを対象に内容を分析し,サブカテゴリ,カテゴリを抽出した。その結果[観察をする][コミュニケーションを深める][生き方を肯定する][安心できる環境をつくる]の4個のカテゴリに分類された。この実習で学生は,これらの視点や看護技術を用いて高齢者の思いや考えを理解し,その人の意思を尊重する行動をしていた。自分とは違う人々と正面から向き合うことを避ける傾向があると言われている学生が,高齢者との援助過程において,コミュニケーション力,アセスメント力観察する力が育成されたと推察される。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Nursing practice is an integral part of nursing education as it provides necessary experience leading to practical capability and development of the human-relations formation process. The purpose of this study is to clarify the viewpoint and technique of students in acquiring an understanding of the elderly in gerontological nursing practice. We analyzed case studies of 38 students and classified the findings into categories and sub-categories. Consequently, the results were divided into 4 categories: <Observation>,<Deepening of Communication>,<Affirmation of Lifestyle> and <Creation of a Safe and Secure Environment>. Through this training, students gained a new perspective in regard to the thought process of the elderly and the importance of a respectful manner when interacting with them. Students remarked that previously they had been reluctant to communicate with the elderly directly, but that they now feel more confident in their abilities of communication, assessment and observation in their role of providing care and assistance to the elderly. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
