| 内容記述 | 筆者は2003年6月1日から8日までスウェーデンヘ痴呆症についての研修に参加した。スウェーデンは,福祉の基本理念としてノーマライゼーションが定義されており,老人の自立と人間としての尊厳を尊重する介護を目指している。現在のスウェーデンでは,経済状態の悪化と痴呆症患者の要介護度が高まっているために介護者側の教育やIT機器の活用が重視されている。この論文では,スウェーデンの痴呆症に対する社会体制の概要とその背景を述べるとともに,高齢者社会を迎えた日本が抱える痴呆症についての課題について報告する。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | A training program on Swedish welfare was held between June 1st and 8th, 2003. The program shed new light on the issues of elderly care in an aging society as it applies to Japan, the most rapidly aging society in the world. In Sweden, the normalization of the lives of the elderly has been defined as the key to quality welfare care. Emphasis is laid on the human dignity of elderly individuals as well as on allowing them to lead a meaningful life with the abilities they possess. As economic conditions grow serious and the need for elderly care increases, the education of elderly care providers and the active use of modern technology is being emphasized in Sweden today. This report outlines Sweden's comprehensive social system for elderly care, the background from which the system has evolved, as well as the issues related to dementia in Japan. | |||||||||||||
