大阪を中心とした日本人の父親100名,在日韓国・朝鮮人の父親74名を対象に子育てと家庭生活に関する意識調査を行い,民族的な特徴について分析した。結果は次のとおりであった。家庭生活全般にわたって,日本人と在日韓国・朝鮮人の父親に大きな違いはみられず,子育ての多くを母親が担っていた。日本人は在日韓国・朝鮮人に較べて,子供との関わりは多いが心理的な距離感を持っている父親が多かった。在日韓国・朝鮮人は日本人と較べて,仕事が忙しいという理由で子供との関わりは少なかったが,子供との心理的な距離感を持つ父親は少なかった。在日韓国・朝鮮人は儒教精神を受け継ぎ,儒教的家族における確たる父親像を持っており,一方,日本人は明確な父親像を持たず,新しい父親像を模索していると推測された。本調査は日本人と在日韓国・朝鮮人の父親の子育てを比較することによって,それぞれの子育てを特徴付けている民族性を明らかにした。 |

We surveyed on the father's consciousness of child care and family life with 100 Japanese and 74 Korean in the Osaka area, and analyzed the difference in the characteristics of ethnicity. Results were the following : generally, there were not much differences in family life style between Japanese and Korean ; mostly mothers took care of children. Japanese fathers had more contact with their children, but felt mentally far from them than Korean fathers. Korean fathers had not much contact with their children because of their busy business, but did not feel far from their children as compared with Japanese fathers. It was suggested that Korean fathers inherited the spirit of Confucianism and had an certain image of the father in Confucianism family, Japanese fathers had no certain image of the father and was seeking for an image of the new type of fathers. This survey clearly showed that there was a characteristic difference in child cares and in father's consciousness of child care between Japanese and Koreans, probably due to Confucian ideas. |
