2000年4月の介護保険導入後,日本の高齢者介護サービスの提供主体が行政から個人の契約へと転換した。本研究はこの保険制度導入後の高齢者施設でのケアの実態を明らかにするものである。この調査により,次のような諸点について改善すべきいくつかの問題点が存在することが分かった。すなわち施設職員の入居者に対する日常の接触,食事・排泄の介助や痴呆のある入居者への援助内容,あるいは入居者や家族の意向を尊重する取り組みについてである。 |

After the enforcement of The Long-term Care Insurance System in April, 2000, the operating subject of the care service for elderly people has changed from the administration to the personal contracts. The purpose of this study is to find the real situation of the caregiving facilities for the elderly people after the enforcement of this insurance system. It was found that there were sevral issues to be improved : namely, the staffs' daily contacts with residents, the help during meal and evacuation, the contents of cares extended to them with dementia and the attitude to respect the wish of residents and their families. |
