| 内容記述 | 退院した患者さんが入院時よりも肥満傾向にあることに着眼し,作業療法士,栄養士,看護師,PSW等精神科に係わる多職種が一丸となって,精神科入院患者さんの栄養指導を通した社会復帰への取り組みを試みました。この試みは,患者さん自らが予算の範囲内でバランスの好い食事を摂る訓練です。具体的には,安全性と衛生面の確保を図りながら,食事の献立,買い物,そして調理を行い,さらには,自己評価を行うものです。食事の献立をし,実行に移すという日常的な訓練を通じて退院後の自立への自信を芽生えさせ,社会復帰へ促進への一歩となりました。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | An interdisciplinary team of occupational therapists, dietitians, nurses, psychiatric social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists was established in order to assist inpatients in the transition from institutional living to community living. The team members cooperated in designing and implementing a program that would assist participants in acquiring the skills necessary to prepare nutritionally well-balanced meals that would meet their budget. Special care was taken to ensure safety and hygiene. Throughout the program, the abilities of the participants in planning meals, shopping and preparing meals were evaluated in order to assess the efficacy of the program. The results suggest that participation in the meal preparation program help inpatients in their return to community living by enhancing their skills and confidence in their abilities to plan and prepare meals. | |||||||||||
