本研究では,早期体験学習としての基礎看護学実習Iの学習効果を把握し,実習のあり方や学生を教育していく上での課題を明確にしていくことを目的とし,実習終了後に提出した57名の課題レポートの内容を分析した。その結果,368のコードが抽出され「早期体験学習の成果」「実習目標にそった学び」「実習に関した緊張・不安」「その他の学び」のカテゴリに分類された。学生は実習に対する不安や緊張を抱えながらも,実習目標にそった知識・技術を習得し,特に看護師として基本となるコミュニケーション技術を学び,相手を尊重し人間関係を構築するために必要な能力について学んでいた。また患者や看護師との関わりから,将来の看護師像を具体的な目標に転換し,看護学生としての自覚とその後の学習意欲へとつながる学習の機会となっていた。そしてこの学習効果が継続・発展していくような講義・演習の展開の工夫が必要であることが示唆された。 |

The purpose of this research is to comprehend the effects of early exposure to clinical settings in the course "Basic Nursing Practice I", and to specify educational problems. We analyzed the reports submitted by 57 students after practice in this course. As a result, 368 codes were extracted and classified into the categories of "the effects of early exposure to clinical settings", "learning for the due fulfillment of course objectives", "the strain and uneasiness felt in regard to practice", and "other contents of learning". Students had acquired knowledge and techniques to fulfill course objectives in spite of their uneasiness and strain regarding practice, as well as the communication skills required from a nurse, and had deepened their comprehension of the ability to build relationships based on mutual respect. In addition, coming into contact with patients and nurses had turned vague images of nursing entertained by students into concrete visions, and had motivated them to be well aware of their duty as nursing students and to study harder. The research suggests that we must elaborate plans for our lecture and practice courses to keep and enhance these learning effects. |
