看護学科教務委員会は,看護学科現行カリキュラムの教育内容の実施状況を調査した。調査内容は,文部科学省「看護学教育の在り方に関する検討会」から提示された「学士課程で育成される看護実践能力育成の到達目標」に沿って例示された教育内容である。調査は,看護学科所属の常勤教員が担当する3年次前期までに開講された必修科目の専門基礎科目および専門科目に対して行った。その結果,現行カリキュラムでは3年次前期までにおよそ95%の内容が教育されていた。構成する教育内容では,専門基礎科目は「ヒューマンケアの基本に関する実践能力」と「特定の健康問題を持つ人への実践能力」,専門科目では「ヒューマンケアの基本に関する実践能力」と「看護の計画的な展開能力」が最も多くの科目で教育されていた。中でも「人の尊厳の重視と人権の擁護」,「援助的人間関係の形成」,「看護計画立案・実施・評価の展開」および「人の成長発達段階・健康レベルの看護アセスメント」に重点が置かれていた。 |

A survey was carried out by the Academic Affairs Committee, Division of Nursing, Aino University in order to obtain the baseline data and to identify the current status of its nursing education curriculum. The survey comprised 530 items that were derived from the framework and the examples of relevant educational contents ("Competencies expected of nurses graduated with baccalaureate degrees"), which were originally developed by the Advisory Group on Baccalaureate Nursing Education, set up by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Surveyed were fifty mandatory subjects, both of fundamental health science and of nursing, to be taught by the end of the first semester of the third or junior-level year. The results showed that the current curriculum covered approximately 95% of the due contents. The majority of fundamental health science subjects primarily dealt with "practical competencies relevant to basic human care" and "practical competencies to take care of persons with specific health problems" while the majority of nursing subjects did with "practical competencies relevant to basic human care" and "competencies to proceed with nursing in a systematic way." And the latter addressed specific topics such as: "respect for human dignity and human rights advocacy"; "development of supportive relationships with clients"; "planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing"; and "assessment of clients' developmental stages and levels of health." |
