専攻科修了生に対する質問紙調査結果および就業状況調査表から,保健師教育の今後のありかたを考察した。専攻科学生は看護師などの就業経験を持つ者が多く,修了後の就業先は多岐にわたっていた。そのうち修了後保健師として就業するものが半数以上であったが,年々その数は減少し看護師として就業する者の割合が増加している。その理由の一つは,大学が増加して保健師の免許を有する者の総数は増加しているが,保健所・市町村が新規に保健師を採用する人数は1人,多くて若干名という狭き門である。修了生は保健師の資格を取得後は,保健所や市町村という公衆衛生分野で活動したいという希望を持つ者が多いので,保健所・市町村が採用人数を多くしてほしい。 |

We have examined the results of the questionnaires answered by the students of Department of Community Health Nursing (CHN) at Aino Gakuin College, and considered a possible future plan for their job situation. Many of the students, after finishing the course of nursing sciences, had experiences as nurses, but further studied CHN. Therefore, more than half of the graduates of CHN used to have jobs as CH nurses at municipal health centers and similar facilities, but its number has recently been decreasing. One of the reasons is that the municipal facilities appoint only few graduates, although many of the graduates wish to work at such facilities. It is therefore strongly hoped that those facilities would hire much more graduates who have been educated as CH nurses. |
