| 内容記述 | The three-dimensional structures of proteins are published in many scientific journals and by the mass media. Although the charts displayed in these publications look like animation figures constructed using computer graphics, considerable research has contributed determining those molecular structures. Identifying the three-dimensional structures of proteins is indispensable to understanding their functional interactions with other molecules. Therefore, determining these structures greatly contributes to basic life sciences and application of this knowledge contributes to the creation of effective medicines. This report will show three-dimensional structures of the proteins determined by this author and the interactions between macromolecules and small compounds, then discuss application to medicine. | |||||||
