| 内容記述 | This paper explores the theoretical background of validation approach as one of the therapeutic emotion-oriented approaches for confused persons. Persons experiencing acute or chronic confusion need physiological interventions as well as psychosocial and environmental interventions. Although the effectiveness of the validation approach is inconclusive and compromised by a limited number of scientific findings, this modality could be an effective approach and technique for a certain type of confusion. In future studies, the research design needs to be modified to provide a higher level of scientific evidence for the validation approach. | |||||||||
