| 内容記述 | 2000年4月から始まった介護保険制度の施行後,高齢者介護施設の実情を知るための調査を実施し,その実態を明らかにした。改善されるべき点としては,スタッフがとっている入居者との日常的なコンタクトのあり方,食事および排泄の際の援助のあり方,痴呆のある入居者への介護内容,および入居者とその家族の意思尊重の姿勢である。また,特別養護老人ホームと老人保健施設の間で介護活動における基本的な違いは見いだせなかった。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | A survey of the care-giving facilities for the elderly was conducted after the implementation of the Long-term Care Insurance System began in April 2000. Care items which have to be improved included the staffs daily contact with residents, help during meals and with excretion care, the contents of care extended to residents with dementia and the attitude of respecting the wishes of residents and their families. No essential difference in the care activity was found between the Nursing Home and the Health Service Facilities for the Elderly. | |||||||||
