 note = {本研究は,救命救急センター(以下救命センターと略す)における新卒看護師のストレス要因の内容を明らかにすることを目的とした。2001年,同意が得られた某救命センターの新卒看護師11名を対象にストレス要因について半構成的面接調査を行った。データは逐語化し,内容分析を行った。その結果,《救命センターの環境特徴》《ケアの実感が持てない》《お手上げ状態の業務遂行》《仕事に対する能力不足の実感》《職場の期待に対するプレッシャー》《不安定な所属感》の6要因と45のサブカテゴリーが抽出された。また,新卒看護師は,《理想と現実とのギャップ》を感じていた。新卒看護師のストレスには,看護基礎教育を修了して間もないという「能力不足」と「理想と現実のギャップ」,そして個人ではどうすることもできない「救命センターの環境特徴」が関与していると考えられた。, The purpose of this study was to clarify new graduate nurses' stressors at a critical care center (hereinafter, "the center"). Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 new graduate nurses at the center to know their stress and stressors, which were voice-recorded with their consent. The content of the verbatim interview transcripts was analyzed and divided into the following six categories (which were fractionalized into 45 sub-categories): "Facing the tense and challenging environmental characteristics of the center;" "Finding it difficult to realize the fact that good care is provided;" "Feeling hopeless due to the throwing-up-one's-hands inability to control tasks and workloads;" "Suffering an acute sense of incompetence in performing tasks;" "Being under pressure to meet senior nurses' high expectations;" and "Having an unstable sense of belonging." Moreover, the new graduate nurses were facing "the gap between the ideal and the reality." It was concluded that the new graduate nurses' stressors included: (1) a sense of incompetence and the gap between the ideal and the reality, incurred by the fact that they have just graduated from basic nursing education programs; and (2) the tense and challenging environmental characteristics of the center, which are beyond the control of any individual new graduate nurses.
