Histological and electrophysiological assessment are important means of assessment of the regeneration process, although the ultimate goal of nerve regeneration is the recovery of motor function, so nerve regeneration is effective when this recovery is first noted. We 3-dimensionally analyzed motor function assessment and studied techniques for 3-dimensional analysis of ambulatory motor function during nerve regeneration.
