内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify the triggers and actions that help new graduate nurses grow from advanced beginner to competent professionals, and to identify which triggers lead to actions that facilitate growth into a competent nurse. The study was conducted with third-year nurses newly hired at Hospital A. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and qualitative analysis was performed. As a result, 23 subcategories, 10 categories, and four core categories were extracted. The new graduate nurses faced “Difficult situations that new graduate nurses encounter” and were acutely aware of the challenges of working as a nurse. As 【Actions to overcome the situation】, while recognizing these difficulties, they took steps to treat them as opportunities for growth and acted to become more independent. With the support of senior nurses and others, 【Factors that support and promote growth】 led to 【Practicing nursing independently】. The process of new graduate nurses acting on the triggers for growth involved reflecting on their experiences in nursing practice and connecting their clinical and practical knowledge, which ultimately led to practicing nursing independently. | |||||||||
