By subject, we were able to categorize 13 subjects. Many brochures were published for patients with incurable diseases that require the use of life-sustaining medical equipment and regular hospital visits, patients with chronic respiratory diseases including those who use home ventilators, and dialysis patients. The itemization could be broken down into 11 categories. Preparation before a disaster, which is the basis of disaster education and necessary to take prompt and appropriate actions when a disaster occurs, was included in the pamphlet for any of the 13 target groups. There was also a pamphlet Dietary Management in Disasters for dialysis patients and diabetics, who need to manage their diet more than in normal times.
